This bill would make it easier for the operator of a recreational vehicle park to eject any guest from park who possesses controlled substances, “disturbs the peace,” or commits one of the other infractions listed in the bill.
We oppose this bill because: South Carolina is in the midst of an ongoing housing affordability and eviction crisis. Enabling the ejectment of more people from RV parks should not be a policy priority.
