On Tuesday, October 30, Susan Dunn delivered testimony before the Joint Citizens and Legislative Committee on Children in support of S.916.
S.916 would raise the age of juvenile court jurisdiction to 18 for most offenses, which would pave the way for community-based programs to be used instead of incarceration, and would eliminate incarceration for status offenses.
